Today this guy was attacked on my block, by three youths in their attempt to rob him of his cell phone. They didn’t succeed. I have the feeling that NY might see a raise in the crime rate as the U.S. continues to plunder into an economic depression.

We found a shell casing for a Winchester 38 Special the other day while walking the dog on 77th. Graffiti is on the rise while the jobs that already were limited disappear. Filthy despair is always right under the sheen of the City, we can see it because we’ve always been here.
